Cyclists Outnumber Cars On These UK Roads

You know something is going right when you see more cycles than cars on the road.

Cyclists in some UK streets outnumber cars and other vehicles

That’s exactly what has started happening in the United Kingdom now. 2020 Statistics from the United Kingdom Department for Transport indicate that there are 8 main roads where cyclists now outnumber all other vehicles. In addition to this, there are another 35 locations where cyclists outnumbered cars and taxis on an average day.

These statistics included a section of Lambeth Road in central London where cyclists accounted for a whopping 87 percent of traffic! Other locations included Royal Mint Street (cyclists accounting for 81 percent of the traffic) and four other city locations recording between 55 percent and 63 percent.
